Friday Club Ride - Andrew & Philip

For this Friday's club ride, we climbed Sierra Road. The entire ride was about a 2,000 foot elevation gain. It was tiring no doubt!

We started the climb relatively slow, then gradually increased the pace as we approached the top.

The weather was pretty cloudy, but luckily not too much fog and the sun was out for some time.

While the climb was strenuous, the way back down was exactly the opposite. Anyone who's biked down Sierra before knows how cautious you have to be on the turns, going at such a high speed. We were riding down the hill FAST!

Anyways, the time it took to climb the hill was totally worth it, and the scenery made it an even better experience. Thanks to Philip for joining in on the ride and we hope to see you all on next week's ride near downtown! Ride info below.
