Rider Profile: Andrew

Why I joined the club: I get my adrenaline rush from riding solo at high elevations. There's a feeling that just comes over me when I'm cycling by myself in the hills with views that can't really be described, not even in pictures. And when I bike somewhere, it's as if there's a different quality to every piece of road my wheels pass over. It's so much different than simply driving over the road, since all the effort put into biking makes the scenery so hard to forget.

Favorite place to bike: My favorite place to bike is the Sunol wilderness. It's nicknamed "Little Yosemite" for a reason, and there's no doubt it's a good reason. Every single bit of that land reminds me of Yosemite National Park, and for a few hours's ride, it's not a bad deal.
